Birchwood Shopping Centre, an important district commercial centre located approximately 4 miles from Lincoln city centre, was comprehensively refurbished and extended to provide new retail space, office accommodation, residential apartments and improved car parking facilities. The £6M development was carefully phased to allow the existing retail units to continue to trade and members of the public to continue to access the centre. The re-development took 2 years to complete.

Lincolnshire Co-operative food store, Caistor

The construction of a new food store and two small retail units in the historic Lincolnshire town of Caistor. A derelict public house was comprehensively refurbished and incorporated into an extended new building footprint.

The project was notable for the discovery of a Roman Cemetery on the site containing 46 sets of human remains dating back to the 4th Century.

The scheme was awarded a Civic Award Plaque in recognition of the care taken to preserve the historic façade of the old Talbot Inn.

A fast track office fit out project to provide high quality office space for use as a 76 person call centre.

The space is located within the former ‘Titanic’ Works in Lincoln, a 200,000 ft2 factory building once home to early tank building and related industrial processes.

A redundant archive store was stripped out and the works comprised the installation of mechanical and electrical systems including data networks, raised access floors, new windows, wall, floor and ceiling finishes, the provision of welfare facilities and partitioned meeting rooms.

Both Quantity Surveying and Employer’s Agent services were provided.

Lincolnshire Co-operative retail development, Sleaford

A new foodstore and six adjoining retail units located within Sleaford in Lincolnshire. The works were carried out in two phases to allow the demolition of old vehicle workshops and the creation of a new store whilst maintaining trading within the existing store. Upon completion of the first phase, the old store was demolished and six retail units were constructed. The external car parking areas were improved as well as the boundaries with the installation of new fencing and the provision of a new pedestrian refuge within the main road opposite the site.
