Back to all projects All Saints Church, Beckingham, Lincolnshire This important grade I church was featured in the BBC Restoration Village series broadcast in 2006. The subsequent repair works were carried out in three phases and supported by funds via the ‘Repair Grants for Places of Worship in England’ under the stewardship of English Heritage and the Heritage Lottery Fund. The church has 14th C origins and is located in the Lincolnshire village of Beckingham, near Newark on Trent. The repair works involved the renewal of lead coverings to the nave, aisle and tower roofs along with extensive repairs to historic structural timberwork. Additionally, masonry repairs were also carried out to the tower walls and pinnacles, repairs to windows to the north and south aisles and below ground drainage improvements.
