Pleasley Colliery, Derbyshire

The preparation of a detailed budget estimate and maintenance schedule for repairs and restoration to key elements of this set of historic buildings and structures.

The colliery is a schedule ancient monument with the buildings themselves being Grade II listed. The report and accompanying condition report was commissioned by EMDA to form part of an ongoing regeneration project funded through the National Coalfields Programme and to also be utilised for a Heritage Lottery Fund application.

The proposed works involved repairs to the steel and concrete headstocks, repairs to historic stonework and brickwork, reinstatement of windows and improvements to external areas
