Private House Restoration, North Yorkshire

A 13^th C gatehouse in ruinous condition with the remains of the castle to the rear. The gatehouse being Grade I listed and the castle remains designated a scheduled ancient monument.

A detailed estimate was prepared for the potential restoration and conversion to residential use. The proposed works include the substantial repair and reconstruction of missing/damaged stone elements, reinstatement of the roof and internal fitting and finishing using high quality materials.
