Back to all projects St. Peter’s Church, Gamston, Nottinghamshire Recently added to the Churches Conservation Trust portfolio, and dating back to the 13th century, the building was subject to a significant restoration by Sir George Gilbert Scott in the mid 1850’s. The recent restoration project involved the re-roofing of the nave, aisle and chancel roofs in sand cast lead and structural timbers repaired as necessary. Other works include significant stonework repairs, repairs to rainwater goods, below ground drainage improvements and cleaning and repairs to windows.
